Course Description
This workshop meets the Michigan LARA Licensure requirement for Pain Management.
In this workshop presenters will explore how historical views of pain have impacted current views of treatment specific to chronic pain and the relationship between emotional trauma and pain.
Course Level: Beginner
Objectives:
- Understand social bias around pain
- Increase knowledge about non-medical interventions to chronic pain
- Understanding the connection between trauma and pain
