In an evolving virtual reality, supervisors must adapt to the challenges of remote work and virtual supervision. This workshop will present findings from the literature and engage participants in sharing effective tools and practices for virtual supervision.

Christina Pavlak
Christina Pavlak is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Michigan and holds a Certificate in Core Supervision from the National Association of Social Workers. Christina has co-authored a book on supervision instruction published by NASW Press, has enjoyed supervising individuals and teams for over 13 years, and has a personal passion for the topic and practice of supervision. She is an Adjunct Professor at Grand Valley State University in the School of Social Work, teaching a graduate course, Principles of Supervision, and providing field education instruction and seminars.
Christina holds the role of Vice President, Training & Development at Health Net of West Michigan and is well versed in leadership, non-profit management, and program planning, in addition to curriculum development and facilitation of training.
