This 3 hour workshop offers an introduction to the profession of Art Therapy and how the practice of Art Therapy encourages clients to express what cannot be spoken in words. (Recommended for Master’s Level Social Workers)

Objectives: Participants will

1. Recognize what is Art Therapy and what is not
2. Examine why and how Art Therapy breaks down barriers with “resistant” clients.
3. Engage in three Art Therapy experientials you can use with children, teens and adults

Recommended for LBSW and LMSW beginning skill level.
