This training will meet the requirement under the new Michigan General Rules for limited and fully licensed Social Workers, who will need to complete training in identifying victims of human trafficking. This training will emphasize those who are trafficked working in the sex industry.

Objectives: Participants will

1. Understand the types and venues of human trafficking in the sex industry within the United States 2. Identify the warning signs and victims of human trafficking for adults and minors in healthcare and clinical settings
3. Learn resources for reporting the suspected victims of human trafficking

This program meets the human trafficking requirement for license renewal.

Recommended for LBSW and LMSW beginning skill level.
