Parenting Tools: Parent Management Training Oregon
This 2-day course is designed to provide tools for giving good directions and encouragement, as well as work in emotional regulation. The workshop aims to provide skills for clinicians working with children and their families. The presenter will follow the research of Gerald Patterson and Marion Forgatch, whose work with parents has proven results in improving children's behavior. Following the training participants will be able to teach good directions to parents, improve parental communication skills, and be able to break down behaviors in order to reach goals. Note: This is not a PMT-O certification training.
